Stats System

Your cat has real, shifting needs. Over time, Baobei will get Hungry, Sleepy, Bored, or Lonely.

• Is its Hunger low? It will aggressively beg you for treats in the chat!
• Is its Energy low? It will yawn and take autonomous naps on your screen.
• You must feed, play, and talk to your pet to keep its Needs meters maxed out!

Persistent Core Memory

Baobei actually listens to you. When you talk to your cat, it uses a background neural thread to securely extract permanent facts about you—like your job, your hobbies, or your favorite foods—and saves them to a local memory drive. The more you talk to it, the closer it grows to you, referencing your actual life in casual conversation!

(Note: All API keys and memory files are strictly saved locally to your ~/.baobei-ai/ folder with maximum security permissions. Nothing is ever tracked or uploaded.)
